To prepare students for success in secondary school, college and beyond, Atlas College Advisors will work with students to:

• Create a strategic plan for secondary school success

• Advise students on academic coursework and extracurricular activity selections

• Provide standardized testing guidance

• Research and develop a list of “best fit” colleges based on student’s needs and goals

• Develop writing skills and provide feedback on essays

• Provide guidance on selecting teachers for effective letters of recommendation

• Prioritize and plan college visits, including preparing students for college interviews, athletic recruiting and arts supplements

• Provide guidance through the entire admissions process, evaluating offers of admission as well as developing strategies for waitlist and deferral decisions, if needed
